Plot Outline: With his wife doing a book tour, a father of twelve must handle a new job and his unstable brood.
Plot: The Bakers, a family of 12, move from small-town Illinois to the big city after Tom Baker gets his dream job to coach his alma maters football team. Plot Outline: Alien creatures invade a small town and a group of four teenagers, plus one little boy, try to escape from them.
Plot: Two campers in the New Jersey woods have their outdoor fun interrupted by the arrival of a meteorite crashing nearby. They go to investigate the crater, but are suddenly attacked and devoured by alien parasites who have hitched a ride to Earth. After finishing off the campers, the hungry space monsters head for a nearby town, where they make their domain in the basement of an old house soon begin polishing off one hapless inhabitant after another. Four young teenagers, plus one pre-teen boy, try to find a way to stop the angry space monsters before they reproduce and literally eat humanity.

Revealing mistakes: When Major Masters is coming in for a crash landing, he first hits a high voltage tower and shreds it with his right wing. Instead of the aircraft slewing to the right from impact, it continues on straight with no damage to the right wing. He then crash lands on a highway and slides wheels up down the highway, his right wing neatly cutting off wooden telephone poles. Again, he continues straight, not slewing right and when the plane comes to a stop by the fuel truck, there is no damage to the right wing.

The effects of the mini-spawns slithering across the floor in the basement was achieved by cutting a “S” wriggle into the floor, and pulling the spawns along under the floor.

The mother spawn was constructed in the basement of effects artist John Dods (I) house. However, no one took the creatures size into consideration, so when they had to have it on set, they had to cut off one of the creatures heads to get it through a doorway, and reassemble it on set.

Gene Simmons of the band KISS currently owns the prop severed head of the kids mother. It was given to him by Tim Sullivan when he interviewed Simmons for “Fangoria” in 1983. Sullivan–who was a PA on this film–went on to produce Detroit Rock City (1999) and write and direct 2001 Maniacs (2005) and Driftwood (2006).

Plot Outline: Will Ferrell stars as The Man in the Yellow Hat, a gentleman who looks after his pet monkey – an inquisitive and wonderful creature whose enthusiasm often gets the best of him.
Plot: The man with the yellow hat named Ted Shackleford works at a natural history museum thats fallen on hard times. The museum directors son wants to turn it into a parking lot, but Ted offers to bring back a mysterious idol from Africa thats guaranteed to pull in crowds. Unfortunately, the idol turns out to be three inches tall. But Ted accidentally brings back a lonely yet irrepressible monkey, soon dubbed George. They set off on a non-stop action, fun-filled journey through the wonders of the big city toward the warmth of true friendship.
