They are there to follow a destiny given to them by the members of their dying race, a race that they are someday destined to save. This is the background behind the WB series “Roswell”. Max Evans, Isabel Evans, Michael Guerin and Tess Harding are teenage humans with extraordinary gifts – gifts that are “not-of-this-earth”. They are human/alien hybrids, sent here as replacements for the royalty of an alien race. Their counterparts have already perished in a war of attrition, thus one day, the “royal four” will return to their home planet and save their race. Before a fateful day in 1999, the teens hid their gifts. The event that forever changed their lives was when Max healed Liz Parker (a classmate) after she was fatally shot in the stomach in a dispute between two customers at the restaurant where she waitresses. A close relationship then developed between Max and Liz. It was later mirrored by a relationship between Lizs best friend Maria Deluca and Michael. Central to the first season were the relationships between the hybrids and their human companions. That focus has shifted during the dramas second season. “Roswell” is now distinctly a science-fiction show built on the relationships between humans and aliens.

Crazy Credits: We know about 1 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
Starting with the third season opening credits, while most of the actors names appear normally, those of the three playing the aliens (Jason Behr, Katherine Heigl and Brendan Fehr) appear first in alien script, then morph into English, representing their rebirth from a previous alien life on Earth.

Goofs: We know about 2 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Plot holes: During the first season, all of the Roswell aliens seem to have the ability to heal (Michael heals the leg of a Native American) but in the later seasons it seems only Max has this ability. The change is confirmed in “Who Died and Made you King?”

Trivia: There are 13 entries in the trivia list – like these:

Executive producer Jonathan Frakes appears on-screen near the end of the first episode. He is the man on stage that announces the crash of the UFO. He appears twice more as himself, once as a guest speaker in the season one episode “The Convention,” and another in the season three episode “Secrets and Lies” where he holds a casting audition for Max on the show "Enterprise" (2001).

Fearing cancellation during the shows first season, fans of Roswell sent tiny bottles of Tabasco sauce (the choice condiment of the shows aliens) to the WB network as part of a campaign to save the show. Roswell was subsequently moved to a new night and time and renewed for a second season.

Heath Ledger auditioned for the role of Max Evans.

In the years before World War II, Churchill found himself on the fringe of British politics: a lone voice in crying out in the wilderness as he warned his country and the world of a Nazi threat. Together with Clementine, he had to confront the personal demons of depression, and the specter of insolvency, before he could reemerge as a reinvigorated political leader and hero.

Crazy Credits: We know about 1 Crazy Credits. Cobb, widely feared and despised, feels misunderstood and wants to set the record straight about the greatest ball-player ever, in his words. However, when Stump spends time with Cobb, interviewing him and beginning to write, he realizes that the general public opinion is largely correct. In Stumps presence, Cobb is angry, violent, racist, misogynistic, and incorrigibly abusive to everyone around him. Torn between printing the truth by plumbing the depths of Cobbs dark soul and grim childhood, and succumbing to Cobbs pressure for a whitewash of his character and a simple baseball tale of his greatness, Stump writes two different books. One book is for Cobb, the other for the public.

Crazy Credits: We know about 2 Crazy Credits. One of them reads:
The latter half of the credits has a voiceover by Jones, narrating as Cobb, regarding the finer points of batting and other aspects of baseball, and how he regretted not going to college, and should have been a doctor.

Goofs: We know about 2 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Anachronisms: In the panoramic shot of of downtown Reno, modern-day casinos are visible that did not exist when Ty Cobb lived in the area.

Trivia: There are 4 entries in the trivia list – like these:

Most of the scenes filmed in a ballpark were filmed at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Rickwood Field is designed from the old Forbes Field in Pittsburgh.

Despite how he was portrayed in the film, the real Mickey Cochrane was able to manage the Detroit Tigers to a playoff appearance and serve in WW II.

Tommy Lee Jones had broken his leg prior to filming. He performed most of his role in a cast. The scene in the ballgame was shot last, when he had regained some mobility.
